We have a broad interest in partitioning-based separations, from extraction into and diffusion through films, the use of molecular recognition for selective partitioning and the use of partitioning to determine noncovalent association parameters like binding constants and stoichiometry. We also have a long standing interest in liquid chromatography: theory, detection, and especially the evolution of capillary LC as the solution to some problems in the quantitative evaluation of neurochemical processes.
